I hate to be the one to burst the Tesla bubble today, but the spectacular “flight” we witnessed at the Roadster reveal needs a little context. The car is carrying around 250kg of compressed air, plus the weight of the tanks, valves and thrusters needed to contain and release it. Based on the published figures, that gives it roughly 1.5–2 seconds of maximum thrust before the system needs to be refilled. In short, it's a gimmick.

It is quite frustrating when a major comic company will not give you the number of books ordered on your title you did for them- and after 3 people deep, insist they you will never get those numbers. No transparency at all, we just have to take their word. This is no way to run a business. People ask me why I kickstart my own books....lol.

Any scifi writers interested in collaborating on a story set on a generation ship? The most plausible setting I can imagine for human civilization expanding to the wider galaxy. Super hard to base a story on...especially if it's not distopian. But a setting rife for exploring human nature and the very meaning of civilization. I am facinated by the idea of portraying this in-between era of humanity in painting...and would love to to see it undertaken in writing. A setting in which every aspect of philosophy could be explored.
