My Brothers and Sisters I am talking to you today not as a Republican. As an American who sees the same streets, the same schools, and the same body count you see. For sixty years we have been told one party owns us. We vote like it is a family reunion. We vote to win the night. We vote so nobody can say we “betrayed the community.” But winning aint the same as getting better. Look at the cities we run. Baltimore. Detroit. St. Louis. Chicago. Philadelphia. Decade after decade of the same party, the same speeches, the same photo ops. Then look at the homicide map. Look at the schools that cannot teach a child to read at grade level. Look at the fatherless homes. Look at the wealth gap that still aint closed after 60 some years of handing over 80 and 90 percent of our votes. They get the win. We get the failure. Stop voting to make them feel good. Start voting like your child’s life and future depends on it. Prayers going up for the Black Community.
