Where I worked part-time during my masters didn't have license to sponsor anyone to stay back in the country. I worked mainly on weekends with little to no supervision, so I could do whatever I liked and once my hours were complete, I would go home and still get paid but I didn't. I worked judiciously, as if I was being monitored, I was honest and straight forward at all times and when my student visa was almost up, my boss called me and said they want to sponsor me, I never asked them oooh. He applied for the license to sponsor, was denied the first time and he re-applied again just for me and got it the second time. He will always tell me, “You changed my life by coming into this work place” and it's down to my core values and belief!!!! YOU CAN’T BE A CHRISTIAN WITHOUT VALUES AND MORALS!!!!

I really do not like it when Nigerians abroad disparage the prices of imported products sold in Nigeria. The fact that the popcorn you buy for 3 dollars at Sam's Club, where you pay for a membership and drive a distance to shop, costs 22,000 naira does not make it a scam. There are costs and profit margins involved in getting what you would easily get in America to Lekki Phase 1. Also, regarding this event planner talk, someone was saying how you cannot do that in the U.S... Are we talking about the U.S.? Stop trying to show that you are better off and not in the Nigerian chaos; it reeks of condescension.

My friends know me, they try shaming me, and i will brutally finish them verbally, i no send anybody papa!
Shaming your friends who are in their 20s and 30s for not being married is a bottom barrel and silly behavior. You can do better.

Waking up to the sound of my kitchen cabinet falling off the wall was not how I planned to start my day.

I have to admit, I always wondered what this part of Psalm 23 meant. I thought “He anoints my head with oil” was figurative language for God keeping the Psalmist healthy. I never knew this parallel. Anoint my head with oil “Sheep can get their head caught in briers and die trying to get untangled. There are horrid little flies that like to torment sheep by laying eggs in their nostrils which turn into worms and drive the sheep to beat their head against a rock, sometimes to death. Their ears and eyes are also susceptible to tormenting insects. So the shepherd anoints their whole head with oil. Then there is peace. That oil forms a barrier of protection against the evil that tries to destroy the sheep. Do you have times of mental torment? Do the worrisome thoughts invade your mind over and over? Do you beat your head against a wall trying to stop them? Have you ever asked God to anoint your head with oil? He has an endless supply! His oil protects and makes it possible for you to fix your heart, mind, and eyes on Him today and always! There is peace in the valley! May our good good Father anoint your head with oil today so that your cup overflows with blessings! God is good and He is faithful!!”

Do not be afraid to sow without immediately seeing the fruits. The sowing belongs to you; the growth belongs to God. No gesture carried out in the name of Christ is useless.

I heard someone say, satan got adam and eve to fix their eyes on one tree when god had already given them an entire garden, think about that. The enemy didn't have to convince them that they had nothing. He just had to make them forget everything that they already had. And he still, till this day, uses the same strategy. He gets us to focus on relationships we don't have, the job that we don't have, the opportunity we don't have, the healing we haven't seen yet. Meanwhile, we are blind to the countless prayers god has already answered. Gratitude isn't pretending you don't want more, it's refusing to let what you don't have make you forget the goodness of god that's already surrounding you.
What's the hardest lesson you've learned?

I can't explain it, but it seems your fortune changes based on your location. That is why a moving man meets his luck. Keep moving and don't be static. When you find your place, consolidate. A word is too much for the wise.
