Arteta playing Ødegaard over Eze in the CL final was proper slap in the face. Ødegaard had no business playing that game and let us down with a disgraceful performance. Arteta’s favouritism overruled common sense again.

Ødegaard was awful v Bayern 23/24 and he was in the best form of his career then. Eze was good v Bayern last year. Unless the game stats is ideal Ødegaard isn’t gonna do anything special. Eze has a moment in him

I know said we should hook Eze at half time because of his lack of application on the ball however he comes alive centrally. We could’ve moved him central with Bruno G & brought Lesnar/Merino on as they thrive off centrality. Again I’d like to see Eze F9 with Saka & Dowman.

As much as detest the majority of these attackers they’re gonna have to be utilised until January. You can’t freeze them out and expect them to have any substantial impact.

Feel like before the 2025 summer we all knew this was the case, hence why everyone was excited Eze And yes Eze has been underwhelming (we haven’t really played to his profile either) But this is more leaning onto Odegaard. Why are we acting he’s randomly gonna be suited to playing games like this? He only started playing well when we went 1-0 up and retained the ball up the pitch (still had sloppy moments) But he can’t unlock mid blocks. We NEED a #10 playing

Bruno G was actually good today but he literally didn’t have anything going forward for him No runners behind No movement in the pockets No combination play Arteta has to start utilising his squad better to get the best out of everyone cuz we have so many ‘top end’ footballers

Good for Noni, deserved the goal and is always aggressive in his play but a deflected goal in a game we shouldn’t have won isn’t going to put away the questions. Always the subs never the set up getting results until it doesn’t. A weakened forest that haven’t scored at home yet
