Karl Urban, as a true professional, studied DeForest Kelly's performances intently, trying to truly understand both the mannerisms and the character, then building on the original. So really, we have had it backwards all along:

I have some issues with the 2009 Trek Reboot, but the one thing I cannot deny is that casting Karl Urban as McCoy was a stroke of pure, uncut, unabridged genius.

People ask me why I'm getting so angry and affected about the assassination of Charlie Kirk and why I'm taking it so personally.
Before I answer I need to correct them. I'm not angry. I'm enraged.
A part from the obvious reason we all share, indignation towards murder. Compassion towards his suffering family.
For me there is one more reason.
Charlie Kirk is me. He... was... me.
I've been called a fascist by people and YouTubers in the "tolerant" (radical) left. I've been called a Nazi by people and YouTubers in the "tolerant" (radical) left.
They made hit piece videos about me. They called me a bigot. A transphobe. A racist. A homophobe. A White supremacist.
All insults me and him shared.
And the crazy thing is that we shared them while we believed different things on several matters!
That is because to the radical left, these words ALL have the exact same meaning.
"You dared to disagree with my cult".
Charlie and I were different men, sharing some ideals and not sharing others, but one thing we did share and that is the same enemies.
So when I saw that video of him being shot. Of his head being pushed back. Of liters of blood being spilled as his body went limp while still holding his microphone, I saw myself.
When I see his wife in front of his coffin I see my wife.
When I see his father asking to give him back his son I see my father.
It was a mirror and it opened my eyes. And it turned on a fire of rage I never knew I had in me.
Charlie Kirk was me.
He was you. He was everyone of us who dared to disagree with the cult.

The left is being whipped into a violent frenzy. Any setback, whether losing an election or losing a court case, justifies a maximally violent response.
This is the natural outgrowth of left-wing protest culture tolerating violence and mayhem for years on end. The cowardice of local prosecutors and school officials have turned the left into a ticking time bomb.

GPS—Here we go again, there were 20,189 devices. Still a large crowd but not even close to the 30,000 quoted in Denver newspapers nor the 34,000 quoted by Bernie Sanders and AOC.
84% of the devices present had attended 9 or more Kamala Harris rallies, antifa/blm, pro-Hamas, pro-Palestinian protests, 31% had attended over 20.
For more insight into what data we also look at in addition to GPS location data would be demographic and psychographic data using over 6,000 different databases, i.e., like the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), Pew Research Center, market research firms like YouGov, Experian, specialized tools like ESRI's Tapestry Segmentation, consumer surveys, social media platforms like 𝕏, Facebook, Linkedin.
Demographic data includes basic characteristics like age, gender, income, education level, occupation, marital status, family size, ethnicity, and where people live (e.g., city, state).
Psychographic data dives deeper into people's lifestyles, values, attitudes, interests, personality traits, social class, activities, and how they make purchasing decisions. For example, it might show if someone values sustainability, enjoys outdoor activities, participates in community activism.
While demographic data is straightforward, psychographic data can reveal sensitive personal details, like beliefs even life goals.
Additionally, by cross pollinating each device with other devices regularly within close proximity to the target device we are able to build a detailed profile for each target.
90% of those in the above 84% were likely working with one of these five groups and is the reason for their presence.
Once again, this is based a very sophisticated algorithm that looks at the behavioral metrics for each device, including the physical 1:1 proximity to leaders and paymasters from these groups in the past.
