DaBlock is coming in Q1 2027.
A new educational hub designed to help digital creators build better content, grow their audience, monetize their work, and make better use of AI and emerging tools.
Help shape the Academy with your feedback: tally.so/r/0QpjMj
Sometimes life forces you to rebuild everything at once.
I’m finally finding some peace of mind and time. Let’s hope it lasts (?).
These past few weeks have been incredibly tough, full of changes, complications, stress, unexpected issues, frustrations, and a bit of everything else. But I think the storm is finally passing (?).
I’m starting over from scratch. With fewer resources, more obligations, more responsibilities, and less ownership of my time, but also, I suppose, with more experience. At least enough to avoid making the same mistakes again (?).
Here are a few things I’d like to share, partly as a reminder to myself:
1. Prioritize. Right now, we’re being bombarded with new launches, features, tools, and so on. Don’t ignore them completely, but don’t get swept up in FOMO; a few months down the line, a better or more original tool for that same problem will inevitably come along.
2. Cut out the noise. Don’t let others viewpoints limit you. In this world, you and those around you will fare much better if you’re somewhat indifferent to what others think, rather than trying to be a people pleaser.
3. Volume and iteration. In a internet of a infinite number of distribution platforms and formats, volume is king. Having "pillar content", a cornerstone piece where you carefully craft every word, is important, but only with the right distribution. A typo on a post on X? Let it slide. Could the post have been written from a different angle or with better wording? So be it; just take that into account for the next publication. Volume isn't the opposite of quality. Quite the contrary. The more you publish and iterate, the more your workflow evolves and improves, but if you stop to correct every sentence and detail for every tweet, video, article, or whatever, is a game over.
4. Own. Own your tools. Own what you produce. Even more importantly, own your words. Your personal brand is paramount. Your content is paramount. The social profiles you control are paramount, as they serve as your distribution channels. Everything you own has become more important than ever, especially in a world where anyone can easily produce software, movies, or anything else. Make it all yours and manage it yourself, for yourself and your audience. Try to own as much of the stack as possible, from production to distribution and monetization.
5. Sell. We communicate to sell, whether it’s a service, a product, an idea, a friendship, or a romantic relationship. Whatever it is, we interact to sell, and we need to be aware of that. You might be selling a memecoin or an idea to end world hunger; ultimately, they amount to the same thing: ideas and promises. So, forget about moral righteousness. To hell with morality. Everything in this world is driven by incentives, so make sure the right ones are aligned whenever you enter a conversation.
6. Forgive. You are going to have misunderstandings with absolutely everyone at some point. Everyone has their own point of view and version of the story, regardless of the subject or its significance. So, the best approach is to seek the best possible outcome for everyone involved whenever possible.
7. Resilience. E̶s̶p̶e̶c̶i̶a̶l̶l̶y̶ ̶i̶f̶ ̶y̶o̶u̶’̶r̶e̶ ̶a̶ ̶n̶e̶w̶l̶y̶w̶e̶d̶ ̶w̶i̶t̶h̶ ̶a̶ ̶b̶a̶b̶y̶ ̶j̶u̶s̶t̶ ̶a̶ ̶f̶e̶w̶ ̶m̶o̶n̶t̶h̶s̶ ̶o̶l̶d̶ ̶a̶n̶d̶ ̶a̶ ̶w̶i̶f̶e̶ ̶w̶h̶o̶ ̶d̶o̶e̶s̶n̶’̶t̶ ̶s̶p̶e̶a̶k̶ ̶y̶o̶u̶r̶ ̶l̶a̶n̶g̶u̶a̶g̶e̶;̶ ̶i̶f̶ ̶y̶o̶u̶’̶r̶e̶ ̶i̶n̶ ̶t̶h̶e̶ ̶m̶i̶d̶d̶l̶e̶ ̶o̶f̶ ̶a̶n̶ ̶i̶n̶t̶e̶r̶n̶a̶t̶i̶o̶n̶a̶l̶ ̶m̶o̶v̶e̶,̶ ̶s̶h̶a̶r̶i̶n̶g̶ ̶a̶ ̶h̶o̶u̶s̶e̶ ̶w̶i̶t̶h̶ ̶h̶a̶l̶f̶ ̶a̶ ̶d̶o̶z̶e̶n̶ ̶o̶t̶h̶e̶r̶ ̶f̶a̶m̶i̶l̶y̶ ̶m̶e̶m̶b̶e̶r̶s̶,̶ ̶d̶e̶a̶l̶i̶n̶g̶ ̶w̶i̶t̶h̶ ̶r̶e̶n̶o̶v̶a̶t̶i̶o̶n̶s̶,̶ ̶a̶n̶d̶ ̶m̶a̶n̶a̶g̶i̶n̶g̶ ̶a̶ ̶6̶0̶ ̶k̶i̶l̶o̶ ̶d̶o̶g̶ ̶t̶h̶a̶t̶ ̶w̶a̶n̶t̶s̶ ̶t̶o̶ ̶e̶a̶t̶ ̶e̶v̶e̶r̶y̶o̶n̶e̶.̶ Nothing ever goes exactly according to plan. Life will test your patience, adaptability, and ability to keep moving forward. Some problems take time, some situations are outside your control, and not everything can be solved immediately. Learn to endure uncertainty without losing direction. Nothing gets solved without resilience and patience.
A few more points could be added, but it's fine as is: seven in total, in honor of CR7 (SUUUUU!)
And well, that’s it. Starting from scratch is never easy.
I’ll be based in Spain for a while now, until we can relocate back to Thailand once we have a clearer and more secure roadmap.
On another note, so you know a bit more about my future plans, I’m looking to open a community and academy for creators soon, assuming there are no further setbacks.
It’s something I’ve wanted to build properly for quite some time, but until now it simply hadn’t been a priority.
There will be monthly and annual membership options.
We’ll likely use Skool and/or Whop as the platform to manage users, content, launches, and various other things.
The first cohort is planned to start on January / February 2027, once everything is in place, from the curriculum and content to the promotion materials.
More info soon (i think).
A moving man eventually meets his luck.
hugs, love, LV.

Ethereum developers can bring their existing contracts to Polkadot.
REVM runs EVM contracts, so tools like Hardhat, Foundry and Remix still work.
PolkaVM is the second option, built for Polkadot's own execution environment.
Two VMs and one contract system.

Let’s build a different kind of web.
One that is open by default.
One that assumes you own your identity, your data and your money.
One that doesn’t make you jump through hoops.
No logins. No digital landlords and no learning curve.
Web2 user experience with Web3 values.
Ultimately, a human web.
That’s what we’re building on Polkadot.

Rules are easy to write.
Their consequences are much harder to predict.
In this interview with @pala_labs, Gavin Wood contrasts the way lawmakers often try to patch problems with the game theorist’s focus on how rules interact with the behavior of the people inside a system.
The relationship is nonlinear. A rule intended to solve one problem can create entirely different effects once real actors respond to it.
That is one reason governance design matters.
Polkadot’s OpenGov puts this idea into practice: rules and decisions are not just written once, but shaped through an ongoing process involving the people participating in the system.
The question is not only what a rule is supposed to do.
It is what behavior the system produces once people start using it.

Names you cannot overwrite.
The Polkadot Devnet contract registry is append-only.
If you register `myapp`, that name is yours. You can publish new versions, but you cannot delete the name or give it a new owner.
So don't use a shared test account to register names. If that account registers `myapp` first, the name stays with that account.

Polkadot was designed around a different idea from chain maximalism.
Instead of one blockchain trying to capture everything, many different chains and forms of value can coexist and work together.
Gavin Wood argued for this model back in 2016. Today, that idea is evolving into something broader: building products that can use shared infrastructure without forcing every application into the same architecture.
That is the thinking behind @Polkadot Products: different products, different needs, connected by a common foundation.

There is no council with special powers in Polkadot governance.
OpenGov gives every decision its own track, and anyone holding DOT can vote, delegate, or propose spending with deposits and conviction voting. Runtime upgrades, treasury spend, and protocol direction all run through the same public machinery.
The system famously upgraded itself to get here. The governance docs cover every track. On Openshore.io/govern you can check all the context you need about Polkadot OpenGov
Polkadot was built around a different direction for the internet: less trust, more truth.
Now AI is moving us toward systems we increasingly depend on but cannot fully inspect.

“AI is, at its heart, less truth, more trust.”
In this interview, Gavin Wood argues that AI increasingly requires us to trust systems we cannot fully inspect: their training data, their models, or how they arrive at their answers.
He contrasts that with Web3, which he describes as “less trust, more truth”: systems where more of the underlying rules and activity can be independently verified.
That idea is relevant to Polkadot Products. The goal is not simply to build more infrastructure, but to create products where users can rely less on opaque intermediaries and have stronger guarantees about what is happening underneath.
As AI becomes more embedded in everyday life, the ability to verify the systems we depend on becomes increasingly important.

For years, the internet made one trade almost invisible:
Give us your data, and we'll give you the service.
The alternative is not abandoning digital services. It's changing who stays in control.
That's the direction Polkadot Products are exploring: useful digital products where personal data doesn't have to become someone else's resource by default.
The Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union states that everyone has the right to the protection of their personal data.
That data must be processed fairly, for specified purposes and on the basis of the person's consent or another legitimate basis laid down by law.
The current Big Tech paradigm treats personal data as a resource to collect, combine and monetise, often without meaningful consent.
Polkadot products and tech aim to enable this fundamental right for everyone.
Starting with keeping people in control of their own data by default in the upcoming Polkadot products.
and remember, you have no enemies 😤
The last few months have been difficult in ways that are hard to reduce to a single cause.
Starting from scratch has never frightened me. If anything, rebuilding has always carried a strange kind of freedom. What has changed is the growing awareness that control is often an illusion we borrow from periods of stability.
There are moments when life reminds you that freedom is not simply the absence of chains, and safety is not the absence of enemies.
Sometimes nothing is directly against you, yet the environment itself becomes uncertain, indifferent, or hostile.
Maybe the strange part is that nothing has to be obviously wrong for everything to feel slightly off.
That alone can be enough to change the atmosphere around you.
You move on, but you don’t necessarily see things the same way anymore...

Privacy policies ask you to trust the institution behind them.
Mathematical guarantees give you something different: a property that can be independently verified, regardless of who runs the platform.
That distinction is central to how Gavin Wood thinks about privacy.
In this clip, Gavin Wood explains how Polkadot Trinity is designed to handle the complexity in the background, using mature cryptographic technology such as zk-SNARKs so developers and users don't have to.
The goal is not just better privacy technology.
It is making privacy a property of the system itself.

The Silicon Valley bubble and the crypto twitter bubble is the same. It’s a bunch of insecure losers playing a perception game and soullessly chasing attention and money. They have no shame and will do anything for more.
To win:
1) Be aware of this
2) Opt out of the game
3) Think for yourself and lean into what’s unique about you for the long term

Convenience made surveillance the default.
Polkadot Products can make privacy just as easy to use, without adding friction.
If privacy is simple, people can actually choose it.
