Excited to be hosting a panel at Friday's event.
So potential for the utility of Esports in education so hoping some good conversations will come out of it!

Scotland's long lacked a singular body to be the voice of the industry - this changes today.
🏴 For the community not for profit 🏴
Scottish Esports, a Community Interest Company (CIC), officially launches as the national body for esports in Scotland! 🎮🏴

After a month off due to everyone moving house at the same time, we're back with three announcements posted over three days, with a BIG announcement at the end of the week.
Keep your eyes peeled for everything going on at Caledonia.

Here's a sneak peak!
Just to reiterate, there's no @ScotEsportsNet meetup this week.
Playing catch up after a crazy month personally and professionally.
I've pencilled in April 30th but I'll let everyone know asap once things are confirmed!
2 Weeks ago was a busy one! CPG for National Games Strategy and the @scotgamesweek workshop
It's evident Esports perception in Scotland still has some ways to go, but its utility and social impact is undeniable - hopefully something that's nationally recognised in the future.
Never in my days did I think Ludwig would be doing coverage of a botched children's Willy Wonka event here in Glasgow 😅
A year ago I'd never hosted my own event
But I saw the scottish scene was discconnected and needed a way to come together
@ScotEsportsNet is about helping the industry of today, but also 10-20 years from now - Building an impactful culture and ethos to thrive in.
Ethics aside, if The Finals let teams compete for real money it could have such a leg up over other esports titles.
- Tension of Hunger Games / Fortnite
- Stakes of Squid Game
- Energy of Cod / R6 Siege
Imagine the tension of a team running across the map to cash out £10k irl
Combined with the fact it's already in an arena, add in something like Virtex... Would be an absolute treat.

Fast approaching 1 year (feb) since I started the network which is pretty mental!
Looking forward to seeing all your lovely nerdy faces in person next week as always 😁

I've been working on positive reframing- Taking something that seems bad and actively seeing as good.
My linkedin had 857 impressions this week.
but only 10 engagements.
BUT
If I were to speak to an audience of 857 people in person or while network I'd be delighted!
