It’s 2075. There is only one hospital in the entire country. It is 8 square miles in the middle of Kansas and owned by United Healthcare. Premiums are $47,000 per month. The only medications left are Ozempic and boner pills. Life expectancy is 38.
Government: “I can’t believe doctors did this to us.”

The true legacy of a surgical educator is not measured in operations performed, but in the success of those trained. Proud to my former #AAST2026 residents rise as acute care surgeons, combat surgeons, & future leaders in military medicine. @NMC_SD @traumadoctors @radychildrens
Jayhawks: named for a group of guys that couldn’t defend their city against a confederate militia.
Tigers: named for the brave men who defended Columbia against the same militia members.
We’ve been better since the 1860s.
MIZ!
Great use of SecNav powers
Navy Secretary Hung Cao has directed the Marine Corps to issue stateside return orders for a military spouse and her family after the woman said in a viral social media video that she feared becoming trapped in Germany as she divorces her Marine husband.

Not a great look for retired sailors to be making light of reported suicide attempts on board a difficult deployment. #22aday though right?

They were 25 and 19 years old. She wasn’t even old enough to buy a beer.
Never forget that it is young people that fight our nation’s wars. My heart is heavy for their families, friends, and fellow Soldiers in their units.
Please keep them in your prayers.
Wonder what this guy said about AA 5342
🚨WHAT ON EARTH??!!!!
The National Guard has just SUSPENDED all 8 pilots of the Apache helicopters that flew on the "Salute to the Shore" flyover across the South Carolina coast.
No reason has been given for their suspension.
A source says as soon as the pilots landed, they got a message saying they were suspended pending an investigation.
Like this doesn’t already happen with the current system of basketball and football. Functional education doesn’t exist in these pipelines after jr high
I do think one point in favor of the American soccer model that isn't coming up much (outside @jaycaspiankang, who wrote a whole book about all this) is the trail of broken boys who get chewed up and spit out by the Euro/Latin academy model, who are left with no education.
Celebrated Americas 250th the best way I know how. Taking the pup to her first state park and celebrating Americas natural beauty

My interpretation is that the Hall is designed to tell the story of baseball and highlight its most impactful performers. I put the line right around 2005 for steroid guys. After it was tested and punishable. Thats why id asterisk guys like Bonds, Clemens, McGwire, Sosa, etc. But, I think the Hall is incomplete without the inclusion of some of the players who truly saved the industry of baseball in the late 90's early 2000's.
