Sad news today. Actor Samuel Monroe Jr. has passed away, according to a Facebook post from his mother, Joyce Patton, who thanked everyone who had been praying for her son and asked that prayers continue for his family, especially his three children. Samuel was known for Menace II Society, Tales from the Hood, Set It Off and The Players Club. My sincere condolences to Ms. Patton, his children, family, friends and everyone who knew and loved Samuel.
