Health - there are massive health inequalities in health for people with disabilities and additional needs. There is poorer physical and mental health but we also know what works well. #preperationforadulthood
We need to reduce isolation, help people learn better social skills & how to build friendships. We need better inclusion within schools and encourage long term friendships and healthy relationships
Only 6% of people with Learning disabilities in paid employment when at least 65% want to work but don’t get the right support. Aspiration are low. Supported internships are helping #preparationforadulthood
