Hey @TennisChannel, you owe me a refund. I’ve paid a lot to subscribe to watch tennis. Now my payment is diluted with pickle ball. I dont want to pay a cent to watch pickle ball. You owe me a prorated amount for pickleball coverage this year. Next year I will use another channel.

Unpopular opinion: the V-Neck of @abdulelsayed is the same tell as the hoodie and shorts of @senfettermanpa and the nip piercings of @andrewcuomo.

Dr. WEB DuBois: In 1956, I shall not go to the polls. I have not registered. I believe that democracy has so far disappeared in the United States that no “two evils” exist. There is but one evil party with two names, and it will be elected despite all I can do or say. There is no third party. On the Presidential ballot in a few states (seventeen in 1952), a “Socialist” Party will appear. Few will hear its appeal because it will have almost no opportunity to take part in the campaign and explain its platform.  If a voter organizes or advocates a real third-party movement, he may be accused of seeking to overthrow this government by “force and violence.” Anything he advocates by way of significant reform will be called “Communist” …”

Extremely important reporting here from @jeremyscahill to remind us the true cost of our aggression. Take some time with it.

For more than two months, I have been working on a truly horrific story about one of the gravest war crimes committed by the United States since Vietnam: The bombing of the Shajareh Tayyebeh school in Minab, Iran. It was one of the first targets struck in the opening hours of the war on February 28, 2026. At least 156 people were killed in the U.S. cruise missile strikes—120 of them were children and 26 were teachers. We spoke to survivors, first responders, parents, doctors, teachers, psychologists, and other witnesses. Some of them had never before shared their experiences of that day. It would be impossible to do justice to what happened in Minab that day with words alone. In more than 25 years in journalism and reporting on war, I do not believe I have reported on a more heinous single crime. Massacre at Minab: The School That Became a Grave dropsitenews.com/p/minab-sch… Please share this story with as many people as you can.

Can always count on you for the worst takes when it comes to family matters.
Don't let the self-pitying fool you. NHJ was a bad parent, not because she sent her kids to underperforming schools. NHJ was a bad parent because her kid didn't know how to write and do math, and NJH didn't know that her kid didn't know how to do math because NJH never sat down and watched her kid write and do math, like a good parent would. nytimes.com/2026/09/20/magaz…

Kanye West did a song titled Heil Hitler and is currently doing a concert tour, which has included multiple dates at Raymond James stadium in Tampa that has banned Macklemore for saying end the genocide & free Palestine fucking absurd
Promoters have pulled Macklemore from Ed Sheeran’s tour after he called for a “Free Palestine” on stage: “We have been notified by venues on the upcoming U.S. tour dates that they will not allow a concert to take place with Macklemore on the lineup” (rollingstone.com/music/music…)

Even now, 25 years later, I can’t get over George Bush standing on a pile of dead people as he and his aides were already preparing to lie America into a war & I can’t forget that the people now monetizing themselves as Never Trump Republicans enthusiastically cheered him on and have never apologized. How are we supposed to learn from history if we allow elites to just move from one horror to the next with no accountability or even contrition? The sociopathic shamelessness that has been so normalized over the last 25 years is a genuine societal plague — one we still haven’t reckoned with.

It is wild how many Democrats in 2026 still believe in the myth of the swing voter who just needs to see a Democratic candidate be a little meaner to some marginalized group before he'll get off the fence and vote blue.

Hakeem Jeffries is fine with racism as long as it's against Muslim and Arab Americans. He chose not to say a word to defend Zohran Mamdani from the vile racist attacks against the mayor from the Islamophobes demanding he not attend the 9/11 ceremony in NY. Despite receiving Mamdani's loud endorsement. Despite Mamdani shutting down a primary challenge to Jeffries. This is who Hakeem Jeffries is: unyeilding support for Israel's genocide and ethnic cleansing of Palestinians and Lebanese abroad, notably silent on anti-Muslim hate at home.

IDF soldiers tell a young Palestinian man to continue on his way, then shoot him from a distance and kill him. A cold-blooded field execution. This is not a state, but a terrorist organization.

Don’t let them re-write history: Gloria Steinem was a CIA asset who was tasked with subverting the feminist movement away from class-based analysis. She founded the Independent Research Service that was funded by the CIA to spread anti-communist propaganda at youth festivals abroad. When she was exposed as a CIA operative in 1967, Steinem confirmed her role to The New York Times without apology, claiming the CIA is “liberal, nonviolent, and honorable” and that she would do it again. The CIA is one of the most violent organizations in history.
BREAKING: Women's liberation icon Gloria Steinem has died. "Yesterday, Gloria Steinem passed away peacefully at her home in New York City, surrounded by some of the many who loved her," a post on her official Instagram said.  Read more: abcnews.link/7v0T5vc
