a light brown italian greyhound with a white patch on the tip of her snoot is standing on a concrete deck with a few inches of snow in the foreground. she’s wearing many layers of warm clothing: a multicolored pastel sweatshirt with one blue and one green sleeve, both cuffed; a pink harness; and a dark fluffy overcoat layer. she also has on bright pink booties and just the most insulted “what the heck” look on her face. she demands an explanation and additional warmth, and not necessarily in that order.

My mind is my main problem almost all the time. I wish I could leave it in the fridge when I go out, but it likes to come with me. I have tried to get it to take up a nice hobby, like macramé, but it prefers to think about things, and jot down what annoys it.
