.@GovKathyHochul’s head of the New York Power Authority thinks it was fine to cut labor protections from climate legislation—and admits that they haven’t even talked to unions about it.
New York needs #BuildPublicRenewables, not an anti-union governor & her weak climate plan.

We need the full #BuildPublicRenewables Act in the Assembly and Senate not the Governor's BPRA-Lite

🔥🔥🔥 “New York is in an existential crisis” about housing— check out this amazing video featuring so many fantastic organizers
Looks like @GovKathyHochul might have forgotten a few things in her housing plan this week: namely, any real protections for tenants or homeless New Yorkers.
We’re here to remind her. This is what working families really want from Albany this year to solve the housing crisis.

This week, Gov. Hochul said “housing is a human right.”
But if we don’t pass the #OurHomesOurPower package this session, then those 5 words alone will not keep any tenant in their home or any NYer off the street.
We must pass these bills, and we must do it this year.

All in with @housing4allNY. Any housing plan we pass this year MUST include tenant protections, tenant empowerment, and social housing. Let's get this right!

Taxing the rich for universal childcare would totally change my life as a parent, and is frankly a bottom tier expectation for a society! #TaxTheRich #SeizeOurFuture

State of the State is tomorrow. Tell @GovKathyHochul it’s time to #FixTheMTA
We’re tired of fair hikes and standing in the cold for busses and trains that take forever to show up
DSA For The Many retweeted
Tomorrow, @GovKathyHochul will release the outline of her exec. budget in her #StateOfTheState
Any vision that allows a $3 fare, 10m waits for trains, & buses that go 5mph is unacceptable: we must #FixTheMTA
Why do you think Gov. Hochul should include #FixTheMTA in her budget?
DSA For The Many retweeted
When I was a Saturday school teacher, I relied on the B48 bus to travel across BK. It came 1x per hour. I would leave 2 hours early to make sure I caught it, because if it came early, I would lose my job. The anxiety it created was my main work stress. #FixTheMTA
