A tale of two billionaires. Jeff Bezos was at fashion week in Europe while he pulled a let-them-eat-cake firing of 30% of Washington Post journalists. Jimmy Lai stood by his newsroom and he will now likely die in a Hong Kong prison. Tell everyone you know about Jimmy Lai.

Russia is a terrorist state. You do not negotiate with terrorists; you defeat them. Canada & Europe should give the Ukrainians everything they need to defeat the Russians & end Putin’s war of aggression on free, democratic Ukraine. 🇺🇦🇨🇦🇪🇺

As most Americans relax comfortably tonight with heated homes, full bellies, and an entertaining Super Bowl, most civilian people in Ukraine are being bombed in their apartments and seeing their energy infrastructure destroyed in the dead of Winter.
Putin is a war criminal.

Russia's mass murder of Ukraine's civilian population is up 31% under Trump.
Russia killed more civilians in 2025 than any year since the full-scale invasion — all under Trump's "peace process."
Deaths up 31% from 2024. 147 drones per night. Both rounds of Abu Dhabi talks accompanied by massive strikes on civilian infrastructure.
"Why has Trump's year of negotiations been the deadliest for civilians? Why did Putin not allow himself such strikes under Biden — but totally destroys peaceful cities under the supposedly 'strong' Trump?" — Nobel laureate @avalaina
The talks gave Russia exactly what it needed: diplomatic cover to escalate while the West hesitated to act. euromaidanpress.com/2026/02/…

Huge applause and support for Canada🇨🇦 and Ukraine🇺🇦 at the Winter Olympics opening ceremony.
Totally deserved!
Right now, Canada and Ukraine are like those good guys in movies trying to save the world from supervillains.
As a European, proud to call them my friends.

Russia is trying to destroy our power plants and our entire energy system. It’s trying to kill our light. And Ukraine, together with our friends, is fighting against the darkness.
This is a battle where everything is clear. There are no gray zones here. And there are also deep Christian meanings in this – in how we defend ourselves, in how we get assisted, in how our people help each other in any circumstances. In how repair crews work day and night, under shellings, in minus 20 degrees, to make sure enemy strikes do not destroy life and that light returns.
We fight every day so that darkness loses. So it’s important for us to have enough air defense for safe sky. It is important for us to support our people and recover after strikes. It is important for us to achieve a dignified peace and reliable security guarantees.
And I thank you for every action and every prayer that helps make this possible.
I addressed the 20th American-Ukrainian Prayer Breakfast.

Last night, the Russians struck facilities critical to the operation of Ukraine’s nuclear power plants. Today, units at Ukraine’s NPPs reduced power generation, and one unit was automatically shut down. This is a level of attack that no terrorist in the world has ever dared, and Russia must feel the world's response.
Russia must show that not only such strikes and the war matter to it, but also the ongoing negotiations that are supposed to deliver results.

A 26-year-old student sent a message to his teacher to explain that he will be absent from the class because he has not found anyone to take care of his five-month-old daughter...
Nathan Alexander, 34, a math professor at Morehouse College (Atlanta) responded to his student by saying:
"If that's the problem, take her to class."
Upon arriving in the classroom, the teacher offered to take the child so that his student could devote himself entirely to the course.
The teacher held the child throughout the lesson and even after, when he answered the students questions.
This photo is of the teacher who not only teaches math but also exemplifies compassion, kindness and generosity towards others.

We await the reaction of America to the Russian strikes. It was the U.S. proposal—to halt strikes on energy during diplomacy and severe winter weather. The President of the United States made the request personally. Russia responded with a record number of ballistic missiles.
