I'd call this the most surprising route announcement of the year.
@Lufthansa just announced new nonstop flights between Frankfurt and... Columbus, Ohio.
It'll operate 3x weekly on the Boeing 787 Dreamliner.
Lufthansa will receive subsidies for the route, but I can't tell how much $ they're getting.
My take: this route will be great for award space. Nothing like the NYC-CMH-FRA routing.
4.5 weeks in a Pavlik harness and my daughters hip dysplasia went from grade 3 to normal. The ability of infants to heal, and the speed with which they do it, is amazing.

Young guy with a BMI of 70. Has a tracheostomy since he had a prolonged intubation and chronic respiratory failure due to obesity hypoventilation syndrome (literally you are too fat to even breathe).
During my exam, I asked him if his PCP ever mentioned a GLP-1 for his extreme obesity and severe medical issues secondary to that. His response? “Oh no way, I heard that stuff can make you blind!”
The power of media scare tactics. A GLP-1 is probably the only thing that could prolong his life significantly, but he’s been brainwashed that it will harm him.
