This is ridiculous. You have one juror refusing to apply the law. They should be tossed for an alternate. The fact they’re going to make the public go through this (and pay for this) again is inexcusable.

After 36 hours of deliberation, the jury in the Lindsay Clancy says they cannot reach a unanimous decision. The judge declared a mistrial, but defense attorney Kevin Reddington requested a stay.   Reddington wants to file a single justice appeal to the Supreme Judicial Court of Massachusetts, the highest court in the state, because he believes that the lone holdout juror that we learned about Thursday is essentially breaking the law. #kevinreddington #lindsayclancy #jury #tria #news

If I were waiting on a verdict on an unjustly handled case where my client’s life was on the line and a reporter said “hey a lot of people thought your closing argument was trash what do you think of that” I believe I would have a full on meltdown tbh.
