ALT The Democratic Party of Wisconsin ratifies contract with Campaign Workers Guild MADISON – After nearly five months of bargaining, the Democratic Party of Wisconsin Organizing Union, represented by the Campaign Workers Guild (CWG), has ratified their collective bargaining agreement with Management. The Agreement will last until December 31, 2024. This contract builds on the prior two agreements and enshrines workers' rights and codifies respect on the job. Notable wins include a raise from $15.36/hr to $17/hr, an annual 3% cost of living adjustment, and two substantial funds to cover workers’ out-of-pocket costs associated with trans-affirming care and reproductive care, and a relocation stipend.

ALT CWG is the country’s first union built by and for campaign workers; they represent hundreds of organizers and political infrastructure workers across the country. This CBA includes many new protections and benefits including back-pay for workers dating back to December 31, more flexibility when it comes to relocation, increased funds for meals, and additional breaks during the busiest times of the year.
