#Yeshanagula ❤️ Somewhere, that little Telangana kid who was made to feel that his language & slang were somehow lesser is quietly smiling today. Growing up, we were often made to feel that the way we spoke, our slang, our language, was somehow lesser. Today, watching that very Telangana sound being celebrated by world-class artists on a world-class stage, with the world embracing it… It’s hard to put into words. Proud. Happy. Emotional. And perhaps, finally, a little seen. We’ve come a long way. And this is only the beginning, there’s so much more to come! ❤️

Every time you shame a victim, you are not just attacking one girl. You are teaching hundreds of other girls to stay silent. We tell girls, ‘Be brave. Speak up. Don’t suffer in silence.’ But when one girl finally speaks, some question her, mock her, shame her & protect the powerful. That is exactly why so many girls never speak. Standing with the victim is not politics. It is standing with every girl who may need courage tomorrow! #POCSO

‘The most dangerous thing on Hyderabad’s ORR isn’t speed. It’s the lorry you don’t see until it’s too late’ Every few weeks, ORR takes another family. Yesterday, it was a family of six. This isn’t new. This keeps happening. On the same road. In the same pattern. Heavy vehicles stop wherever they feel like it, no lights, no warnings, at a road where traffic moves at 120kmph. ORR is one of the most used roads in this state & it deserves strict enforcement. Mandatory stopping bays. Heavy vehicle enforcement units. Real-time monitoring. Strict penalties. Let’s be honest, This is not at all complicated, It just needs someone to actually care enough to act. How many more families have to not come home before that happens!?
