132 years of French colonization.
132 years of tyranny.
132 years of fear
132 years of wasted lives.
132 years of sacrifice.
132 years of blood
132 years of darkness.
July the 5th 1962 will always and forever remain special.
Happy independence day to my beautiful Algeria🇩🇿🇩🇿

Here are some of the things that can be done, depending on your situation and in no particular order, now but also when the international lens will zoom out again (please add where you see fit):

Dear PhD students,
I wanted to share with you this message from my supervisor Dr. Eleanor Byrne who asked me to circulate the attached call for papers, which may be of particular interest to any of you working on postcolonial studies.

DOUNIA.
Only female figures who do not dare are allowed to be heroines. The rest are witchificated in so many different ways.
Today I have decided to take a break from any research work and focus on my greatest passion in life: cooking.
So having a day off is not that bad after all.
#cooking/positive vibes.
