A guy named Eutychus fell asleep during a long sermon and fell out of a 3rd floor window. Paul had to go raise him back.
Read Acts 20:9 you will see it
So long sermons have been putting people to sleep since Bible times. 😂
Happy Sunday ✝️

Reverend King, the convicted notorious man of God, is in Kirikiri prison, waiting for the date the Nigerian state will sign his death sentence by hanging, as was pronounced by the Supreme Court, but while the uncertainty about his fate remains, man is still living a larger-than-life image, and his influence has never waned while inside Kirikiri prison.
Despite his brutal crimes and death row status, a loyal group of followers from the Christian Praying Assembly, his church, continues to worship and adore him.
Before he was hauled into prison, women served him food naked.
Followers beaten until they could not move. And then, in the most horrifying act, one of the followers was doused with fuel and set on fire.
And even on death row, the disturbing reports did not stop.
Reverend King was accused of having intense sex with female visitors who visited him in prison and with female prisoners too, allegations serious enough that prison authorities transferred him between facilities multiple times, from Kirikiri to Kuje in Abuja, then to Kaduna, then to Katsina, partly because of the volume of followers, including notable politicians, who kept visiting him for prayers.
One woman later said she had repeatedly had sex with him during these visits, became pregnant multiple times as a result, and had to terminate the pregnancies.
In his own defence, Reverend King reportedly described what he was doing to these women as a method of teaching obedience.
And he has not stopped his larger-than-life status while being held inside Kirikiri prison.
Through all of it, something extraordinary happened.
His church did not abandon him.
Members of the Christian Praying Assembly continued to fill the pews every Sunday.
In a bizarre display of devotion, the Christian Praying Assembly, his church, continues to function, and members still recognize him as their spiritual leader.
The church has even expanded its branches globally during his imprisonment, as they have over 200 branches now.
They read prison letters from him aloud during services, urging the congregation to continue in the faith he had taught them.
When rumors spread that his execution might finally be carried out, church leaders stood at the pulpit and warned that Nigeria would boil if anyone touched their holiness.
His loyal church members continue to run his ministry and adopt his surname, King, in their name, which is compulsory, and they are also mandated to visit him in prison at Kirikiri prison at least once a year.
The visit to Kirikiri is seen as a pilgrimage in Kirikiri to visit the Prophet for his prayers and blessings.
And it does not stop at this
Every year around his birthday (in February), devoted followers regularly pay for prominent, multi-page newspaper advertisements and public billboards across major Nigerian cities celebrating "His Holiness Dr. Reverend King."
This year alone, his members took over 20 pages of the This Day Newspaper to celebrate his birthday.
A page costs more than a million naira, so you can do the calculations.
Religious psychosis is real; I have not seen anything like this before in my life.
I wonder what is stopping Lagos State Governor Sanwo Olu from signing his death warrant because it is long over due.
