We've a CB playing RB, a RB playing LB, and RB playing CB, an 8 playing in the 10, our 10 playing as a winger, our winger playing as a 9.
Harry fucking Houdini couldn't fix this.
All valid points.
And fair play for him chirping up.
But - and this is KEY - the common denominator for all these stackings and resets are TWO things.
Those American cunts and those useless ones on the pitch.
I hope they looked in the mirror aswell as the boardroom.
Lisandro Martinez’s view that Michael Carrick has been sold short and the squad has not been equipped with the depth to fight on multiple fronts is shared by several senior players - and football staff. It has been discussed in the dressing room with the club aware of frustrations around recruitment.
There was a fear ahead of the campaign that the squad would not be strengthened properly - the lack of cover at left-back and striker were major concerns, which is evidenced in how much the need for reinforcements was stressed during pre-season interviews.
Told the driving reason behind Martinez’s airing these grievances publicly is fury that Carrick is likely going to lose his job despite not being given the tools to have a fair crack, and players are sick of reset after reset, without questions asked of the people in charge and what direction they’re taking the club in.
Carrick and the team have faced criticism, accepted it, and owned up to performances being nowhere near good enough.
Where is the accountability from the people who keep leading the club to one doom spiral after another?
If only that senior official took one of those " Anti Phishing " courses that HR sent out none of this would have happened
It was a seemingly innocuous email, sent on a Wednesday morning in January 2017, that started everything.
Arriving in the inbox of a senior official at Manchester City, it appeared to have been sent by an employee from European football’s governing body, UEFA, and contained a link to a financial compliance report.
The City official clicked the download button. That was all it took.
It was not a genuine email from UEFA but a successful phishing attempt by Portuguese hacker and activist Rui Pinto. City’s servers were breached, allowing Pinto to retrieve thousands of emails and documents from the club’s systems.
This week, almost 10 years on from Pinto’s first email, the Premier League announced that an independent panel had found City guilty of all but one of the charges against them, as The Athletic first revealed last Friday.

I personally think any and all punishments should start with Omar Berrada being banned from all footballing activities for one year of every million they lied about in their accounts.
That's a good starting point.
I mean, come on 😂😂😂
Proper punishment for Manchester City:
- 5 year transfer ban
- £2,000,000,000 fine
- Agreement to let first team players choose another club to play for
- Immediate relegation to Championship without promotion for at least 3 seasons
- 30 to 40 point deduction each season up to 114 points starting 2030-2031 seasons
- Stripped of all trophies from the duration of fraud
They should stay in the Championship for 5-6 seasons at least. And lose most of their players to rebuild
So, it's pretty clear that Pep Guardiola is the single biggest cheat in footballing history?
Player. Several times.
Barca. God knows how many.
City. 115 of em.
No wonder he left when he did. Writing was on the wall.
He's got to go.
Just do it now.
We've 3 weeks. He's not got the balls for this or the ability.
Move on.
Imagine having a winger that could take his man on the OUTSIDE and not have to turn back or inwards every single time.
We've been sold an absolute pup with that Santos fella. He's red raw useless.
Offers absolutely nothing.
