We are so happy PCH joined DO-IX and is now present in @stadtdortmund. With their TLD name service and @Quad9DNS it will also lower DNS latency for DO-IX members and improve site load times when surfing the web. #peeringfamily

Today we received hardware from @PCHglobal to run AS3856 (Internet Routing Analytics) and AS42 (Name server for ~ 400 cc Top Level Domains). @Quad9DNS will be available in Dortmund as well. Lower latency & higher availability for all peers and their customers!

Yay, @Akamai just increased their peering capacity in #dortmund at DO-IX from 10 to 50Gbps. With more peers connecting to DO-IX over the next weeks they are able to serve even more traffic locally. #peering #ruhrgebiet

Shout out to @ixpmanager - they just released version 5.5.0 which gives a quick overview of IXP ports nearing high utilization. Proper tooling helps engineers to priotize tasks, quickly inform customers and solve problems faster. Thanks again for your work! #ixp #peering #netops

We are finally getting all long overdue tasks on our To-Do list fixed for 2020. We are not entirely done setting up IXP-Manager v5 by @ComePeerWithMe just yet but interfacing via IX-F with @PeeringDB and @euroix works perfectly already.

We will keep working on all the additions over the next days and will provide our members with an early X-Mas gift. We also hope to attract new peers in 2020 to establish a peering community in the Ruhrarea and maybe up to Hannover/Muenster :)

Our route servers are RPKI-enabled since last week. Invalid routes will be dropped. Thanks to @pierky and the contributors of the ARouteServer (github.com/pierky/arouteserv…) project. It really makes implementing #rpki at an #ixp a walk in the park!
