Hey! Good job! I like it! Funny because over the past few days, I've been thinking about the whole "tigers make better lions than lions" thing. Sound designers usually go to specialized animal trainers for their sounds. And to get them without stressing the animal, they resort to "resource guarding": Trainer gives the cat food, trainer tries to take away the food, cat defends his food. Solitary cats like Tigers, Leopards and Jaguars can't afford to have their kills stolen very often, nobody is backing them up. And so, when they do RG, they go from 0 to 100, which gives you their scream roars. Lions are social, much more about dominance, so they are much more prone to doing those "engine growls" to keep a competitor or rival away. They don't have to go to 100 right away, so sound designers get the growls. Which are awesome, but not what they need. But in reality, Lions CAN make those explosive screams when they fight and are cornered. Good luck capturing that with a shotgun mic for clean audio lol
