Tomorrow I'm setting off to Cranwell for my CIC. I've been intensely (and probably irrationally) nervous in the last few weeks. Thank you so much to everyone who supported, advised and prepared me. Today is for ironing and bulling! – at Blaydon, England

This weekend I visited my first RAF Station, Spadeadam, for the AT challenge! I was quite nervous as I'm not fully knowledgeable in RAF traditions & customs, but I've had so much support and advice from fellow CFAVs this weekend. Also had fun acting as a casualty for first aid!

This month, remember to respect everyone's pronouns! You don't always have to understand them, but respect and accept them! 🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️

Tonight @361AirCadets had their AFI, with myself as escorting officer. A very successful first inspection, and as it turns out I scrub up pretty well!

Today is the 77th Anniversary of the end of the Second World War in Europe, with the signing of the surrender of Germany to the Allies, now known as VE-Day.
Please take time today to remember the bravery & sacrifice of our Armed Forces who served in that conflict.

This #InternationalWomensDay, we're recognising a few of the many female staff and cadets who #BreakTheBias every day in the RAF Air Cadets.
Next up, here’s new @WORAFAirCadets, Donna Hall
Are there any women in our organisation who have inspired you? Let us know below! 👇#IWD – at West Midlands, England

ALT Picture of WO Donna Hall with quote: “I am proud to be the first female Warrant Officer RAF Air Cadets, because I am role modelling that anyone can achieve in this organisation. My gender has never held me back, but I’m acutely aware of being "the first female" or "the only female" in a number of areas throughout my RAFAC journey. That to me is how I #BreakTheBias, by encouraging a diverse and inclusive organisation that supports everyone and provides opportunities for all”
Been quiet recently...finally been hit with COVID, and feeling a little worse for wear. Taking longer to get over it than I thought it would. Thank god I'm vaccinated 💉😷
