CONGRATULATIONS to D3 (Dewey Clark III) on his ranking in PG! UBER talented 5 tool player who can SLING it on the mound as well. I have a feeling our Legends 2031 National team will be WELL represented in these rankings as they expand moving forward. It’s an INCREDIBLY talented, successful team, who compete at EVERYTHING. Thank you @JGatesPG @PG_OhioValley for believing in Dew!!

The ball was caught.
IT STILL WASN'T GOOD ENOUGH. ⚾️
After 30+ minutes of the 21-Out Drill in 100° heat on turf, the final out was secured on a pop-up.
But the communication was wrong.
Coach Cunningham - an 18-year college baseball coach - didn't let it slide.
Lower-priority fielder: 1 ball call.
Higher-priority fielder: 3 ball calls.
The SS, moving into the outfield, made a 3 ball call when his priority required only 1!
Some call that too demanding.
GREAT COACHES CALL IT THE STANDARD.
A good result doesn't excuse poor execution.
THE CATCH MATTERS.
THE COMMUNICATION MATTERS MORE.
Details win games. 🔥⚾️

Hawks are looking for coaches who want to help us compete at the highest level. Looking to fill spots at all 3 levels, stipend positions with a preference in pitching and catching.

HS players and parents chasing college baseball — this is the single most important piece of advice I can give you:
Find ONE person you trust and stick with them.
NOT the fanciest social media account.
NOT the guy selling you a dream.
NOT the org telling you what you WANT to hear
One trusted guide who actually knows the landscape.

I’ve come to realize that hundreds of ridiculously dumb infield drills have entered the universe all because folks who only have enough loot to build/operate a single indoor batting lane want to stake their claim as a player development guy
Some drills do in fact make you worse!
