Many moons ago, I interviewed ⁦@kanyewest⁩ @Sportsnet⁩ #NBAXL in his first Canadian intv. We walked up to him & asked. He was very kind. Even back then he didn’t mince words: “...that label folded cause obviously they sucked.”😅 Thank you #areacode416ix for sharing this.

So Sportscenter just showed a clip of Stephen A. Smith voicing his displeasure for the lack of black coaches in the NFL, in passionate fashion. Once the clip was done, the hosts of SC just laughed, commented on his turtleneck, and moved to the next clip. Interesting.

Toronto’s elite defense has gone to another level in the postseason. Now, in the NBA Finals, the Raptors have their claws into Steph Curry and the Warriors, executing a game plan born out of hours in the film room and on the practice court. New on @ringer: theringer.com/2019/6/8/18657…

This was the first ever Canadian-based NBA show I remember watching! The fact that hip hop culture was mixed into it made it that much more epic! This was our “NBA Inside Stuff” and I loved every minute of it! 10 Deep, Soundbombing, don’t get me started...
