Singapore just recently concluded our Duel Masters TCG format "Gladiator Cup" on Saturday. This was our 2nd tournament for this year.
The turnout was amazing with 30 participants. It was chaotic fun throughout 🔥
Round Robins: 2 Groups of 15 Players (Bo1)
Top 4 of Each Group advances for Bo1 playoffs
I brought a deck called ドロマ マーシャルｘソニアス, there was 1 game I misplayed but overall I was happy with how the deck performed. It was an untested deck that was only created just a few hours before the tourney 🤣 because I couldn't make up my mind want to bring.
I decided to go with an Ailzonius theme deck as I recently acquired more Ailzonius 💸

It does a great job comparing Duel Masters’ deckbuilding freedom and crazy card design to MTG, Yu-Gi-Oh!, One Piece and Digimon
The “kusoge” comparison is also incredibly accurate. For fighting game fans, Duel Masters really does feel like UMVC3 sometimes
Both players have the freedom to pull off these huge, high-dopamine, completely ridiculous turns, and that’s what makes the game so fun
