Starting in 2027, work will begin on the transformation of the “south block” of Disney Village. A first piece of concept art has been released.

Something I love on the Disney Cruise Line ships is the amount of art adorning the walls - particularly on the staircase areas. They are often themed to the area of the ship you are in. Rémy, for example, links to the adult speciality dining. Walt Disney is on the staircases near the Walt Disney Theater.

The adult only experiences extend to the open decks. Deck 11 and 13 forwards are exclusive adult spaces on the Disney Dream. You’ll find pools, lounge chairs and, my favourite, Cove Café for speciality coffees.

Taking a quick look inside the Royal Palace Restaurant. Disney Cruise Line has a rotational dining system where you change restaurant each night - and your service team come with you.
This system is honestly fantastic, your servers work out how you like to do dining and adjust to that. You want to eat faster, slower, have a certain drink, have dietary requirements, it’s all good. You’ll only ever have to explain it once.
