Elon Musk, the richest man in the world, is threatening to unseat elected officials if they do not follow his orders to shut down the government during the holidays.
Are we still a democracy or have we already moved to oligarchy and authoritarianism?

Life expectancy data from @HealthFdn is grim. Progress stalled. Outcomes unequal. Costs to 🇬🇧 national finances immense.
There’s so much we could be doing to embrace modern prevention technologies to enjoy long healthy longevity.
Why don’t we? That’s the central health challenge of our times.

If you are in the UK and you have been offered a vaccine but refused, please think again, especially if you are over 50. There is a lot of uncertainty about whether infections might go up for a bit, so now is the time to reconsider.

Just listened to the penultimate edition of this series of @BBCMoreOrLess @TimHarford
The work they have been doing on the Govts C-19 statistics has been magnificent.
I suggest a weekly 15 min “More or Less Covid?” programme to continue its invaluable work.
RT if you agree.
