Tomorrow I’ll start a new DAW project and also today I’ve gained a couple more fans who love what I’m doing. A good day :)

It’s just about there. It could do with being tested on a club sound system. I can’t really set mine up at home. I referenced the vocal on Adam Beyer’s Data Point to get the level right on my vocal. It jumps out at you. It sits just below the kick drum :)

It’s a good job I invested in my new NX3000 amplifiers. Both of my Studiomasters are faulty. I went to turn my 1200D on and nothing. Electronics can be funny at times. They are over 25 years old. It was time I upgraded them. Still worth getting serviced. They are heavy but they are great spare amps :)

My vintage 2019 MacBook Pro has done it again. Another tune produced. I’ve stacked quite a bit of Peak Time Driving techno so it’s nice to be able to play my own Peak Time Driving techno songs in my DJ sets. I love that sexy style 130BPM. It’s my style 😁

Let’s see how it does on SoundCloud Amplify. I think this one will be worth releasing. A 4 track EP you want 1 main track with 3 supporting tracks rather than releasing all the best tracks on one EP. Out of 100 tracks that’ll give me 25 EPS to release plus one greatest hits album which is great :)

I’ve produced a decent track here. My snare rolls and my vocal needed a bit more volume after failing the car test. Apart from that perfect. I’ll sort that out today and turn it into a nicely polished tune. I’m still training my ears on this mastering process. I’ll hit them first time eventually :)

As far as touring around the world goes I wouldn’t be able to cope right now. Getting out of bed and going to the shop is difficult enough. I’m still on antipsychotic medication and antidepressants every day and I’m still very ill, but the positive thing is I’m in a much better place than I was and I’ll get there in my own time. I’ll also meet a nice girl on my journey to start a relationship with. I’ll look forward to that.

My research didn’t start at or end at university. I’ve been doing my research for years and it’s like learning, the research never ends.

I’m going to enjoy myself producing techno in my studio now I’m a specialist. I certainly know how to produce a tune. My sound might not be for everyone but there’s a solid core of fans who love it. Thanks for the amazing support. There has even been a woman who is considering getting a DJ Carl Meah tattoo which is great. I’ve never had such devoted fans before. I did have a Russian fan club on My Space a long time ago 😍

Studio proper tomorrow and I’ll be producing another tune and I’ll be sitting back in my chair. Listening to my reference tracks there is still room for improvement but I’m just about there. I’m pleased with my progress :)
