Last week, our Marine Mammal Research Program team virtually attended the Society for Marine Mammalogy's 24th biennial conference! Though we couldn't be there in person, we enjoyed so many wonderful and informative presentations and even shared a few of our own!

Dr. Neil Hammerschlag is a marine ecologist and will be this years speaker at DISL MEAL event. His current research centers broadly on the behavioral ecology, conservation biology and movement ecology of marine predators, primarily focused on sharks.
