( There’s a happy little sigh. He’s content with that. It means more than enough. ) I’ve been just fine. ( Not quite well, but not bad. ) How are you? Healing at all?

Of course. ( He disappears for a short time to make the tea. When he returns, he hands it over and takes a seat with a bit of distance from him. It leaves the decision to close the gap with him. )

Good… of course. Yes. What sort of tea? Any requests? I can make a blend… something like what I would have used, anyway.

Give me a few moments. Anything else?

Tea?

[ He doesn’t have many answers… he hardly has other godkind to learn from. ] ( is that not rather normal for us? )

[ who he is now feels… separate. it feels like he’s floating through the present a lot of the time. ] ( I will be here… I don’t know if I could ever become mortal, I never was, but I be less… permanent. I don’t know how it works. I don’t think it could work backwards. )

[ All he sees is this Noah, the domesticated version. Or glimpses at his past. He’s not seen the worst in its full glory… or if he has, he’s ignoring it. ] ( . . . I don’t think I’m going anywhere. I just don’t know what version of me I will be. )

[ A saint? Hardly. He’s so far from that. ] ( perhaps, but thinking of what is good for me doesn’t come naturally. I get hurt anyway, I believe. )

|| black wolf I feel but I’m not sure

[ It’s not unnatural. He knows it well. He’s content just to be by his side as they figure it out. ] ( oh. I don’t know. it hadn’t been a subject of much consideration… )

[ He’s not pushing for anything other than proximity. If anyone understands that resistance to contact, it’s Noah. ] ( … for others you mean? )

Sit with me. ( I just want peace. That’s not… in my nature. To be what I am, I must be at war within myself. )

Come here. ( I know. I know the answer to it, though. The question is more around my willingness to fix it. )

Never. ( I think the likes of you and Astrid, and others who cannot exactly… doubt me, mean that wouldn’t happen. But… I am unsure of my status currently. My power. )
