Headlines from @DIANAstudy2016 keep yours eyes out for paper... headlines released today at #LIVES2019
De-escalation of antibiotics was associated with higher clinical cure in critical ill patients...even adjusting for confounders...
After the first presentation of DIANA study results we are having an Investigator Meeting this afternoon at #LIVES2019 room M2 @dianastudy2016 #antimicrobial #resistance
Analysis of the data for the primary manuscript have been finalised! Results of the #DIANAstudy will be presented at #LIVES2019 in Berlin on Monday September 30th at 1600! Stay tuned for details! @ESICM @criticcaredoc @jeroenschouten3 @jasonroberts_pk @AlexisT @GarnachoJose
The #DIANA (DetermInants of #Antimicrobial use aNd de-escalAtion in critical care) database has now been locked. This @ESICM endorsed study has included over 1500 patients and collected highly detailed data on empirical antibiotic prescriptions from over 140 ICUs in 28 countries
