Elsik has turned out for tonight’s Region III Final. Good crowd for SL as well, 4000+ I estimate.

It’s time for the annual National Dog Day photo.

Happy third birthday to this goofy valentine.

Happy Nation Dog Day. And throw in a cat too.

This is for my friends at Seven Lakes High School who are about to start a new school year. Y’all know where to find me.😂

Levi is the poster boy for our boarding place. I’ll be accepting offers for future modeling jobs.😂

I like the look of that.

Congratulations Aidan! Great player and even better kid. I enjoyed watching you play.

5pm is dinner time. They never let me forget.

When I first started teaching I would take a briefcase to work (like any good professional 😂) Of course I stopped using it years ago, but I kept it in my cabinet and would put thank you notes in it. I’m having so much fun reading them. So many great students through the years!

My advice to young coaches. Make sure your managers, trainers, statisticians, etc feel like they’re part of the team. Here’s part of a note I received from my manager today,

Listen to Coach Flora and I discuss retiring after 40+ years in education on the Seven Lakes podcast. open.spotify.com/episode/2aY…

Can’t believe it’s been a month since this happened.

I like this one even better than last week’s. Thank you Coach Krueger for convincing me to get back into coaching six years ago. It’s been a blast. And thank you to all the players who made my last game the ultimate “W”.⚽️🏆

Happy to be joining Coach Krueger and Coach Kolkman in another trip to the 6A State Soccer Tournament. Gonna get that ring this time.😀

33years coaching (27 Varsity and 6 JV), 730 games, and who knows how many players. It’s been a great ride. Thanks to these guys for making the last one a “W”.
