DOGI DOGI

Dogecoin is the people's crypto because it's fast, cheap and fun. These properties make Dogecoin particularly useful as money. However, due to the nature of the code which was adopted from Bitcoin, Dogecoin is actually capable of much more. Bitcoin Script allows for instructions and data to be included along with the transactions that send Dogecoin. This functionality not only provides locking mechanisms and multi-signature requirements to send coins, but also the ability to embed data in the form of images and text. So called "inscriptions" are a clever use of Dogecoin's inherent functionality which have provided for projects building tokens and NFTs directly on the Dogecoin blockchain. Soon we will see even more functionality added to Dogecoin, in the form of zero knowledge proofs. This functionality opens the flood gates for applications that can be built in a decentralized, verifiable and trustless manner, in accordance with the core principles of blockchain technology, pioneered by Satoshi themself. Ultimately, this is the destiny of robust, open, and permissionless blockchains such as Dogecoin. Some may find it useful as money, others may find it useful for tokens and NFTs, and soon it will be useful for nearly any application which benefits from decentralization. The builders and innovators continuing to utilize and enhance Dogecoin in new ways are the engine behind scaling the network and maintaining the prominent relevance of The People's Crypto. I salute you all. To the moon, mars and beyond! 🫡
