Media literacy and comprehension are at an all time low. Imagine telling someone to use their eyes and brain next time they watch the show when you clearly didn't.
Can somebody help me? Can someone tell me when Caitlin put the team's needs before hers? Cause I can't seem to find any. She had the worst life out of any of the other team members because of the choices she made. She and she alone is to blame for her demise.
The weirder part about that comment was she wore her hair like that for 1 episode & they were going on vacation. She was worried about Crisis but she was light & happy. The use of the words "abrasive" and saying she was "difficult because of her hairstyle" is deliberate & racist.
@userprimitive I still can’t believe that person left that comment . When this was her in that one episode where she wore her hair curly. Her being cute and supportive. Yet saying she was more “abrasive because of her hair was more curly” is crazy .
Also the fact that they constantly used WA scenes in the promos to boost their viewership in upcoming episodes is another example of how good their chemistry was. If they had none, they wouldn't use them like that at all.
Why are you flip flopping? Because you're earlier post you falsely claimed Caitlin held the team together while Iris did nothing. Said you included her just because and now you're singing her praises? So performative.
A lot of Flash fans hate Iris because of that one line “you are not the Flash, Barry. we are.”
I understand the show made it seem like Barry couldn't be The Flash without Team Flash, and that line didn't help
but she was an important part of Team Flash, and her contribution went beyond fighting alongside Barry. she was his emotional anchor, his source of comfort, and someone who stood by him through some of his darkest moments
without Iris, Barry would've been a completely different person. she was one of the few people who could reach him when he was broken, remind him of who he was, and give him a reason to keep going
and let's be honest, Barry would do absolutely anything to protect her
you can't deny how much she meant to Barry.
Why are we rewriting the show more than a decade later? Joe & Barry only became close after he got his powers. Iris helped him with the loss of his mom & his dad being imprisoned. Joe only took him in because of Iris. Joe, like everyone else except Iris, believed Henry was guilty
Joe West wasn't Barry Allen's biological father, but he was there for him in ways that went beyond blood.
from helping him cope with the loss of his mother and the imprisonment of his father to standing beside him through the pain, failures, and sacrifices that came with being The Flash, Joe never stopped being someone Barry could count on
he wasn't just the man who raised Barry. he was the father Barry could always come home to, Before he became his father in-law ❤️
Rewriting the show, are we? Or is it amnesia? Because Caitlin hightailed it out of there every chance she could. Left at the end of s1. Left at the end of s3. She was a selfish person. Iris kept the team going when things got bad. Caity girl looked out for herself as usual.
One thing The Flash got right was Team Flash ⚡
Barry was the one out there saving Central City, but he never did it alone
Cisco was the genius behind so many of his inventions, Caitlin kept the team going when things got bad, Harry brought his intelligence and experience, Joe was the father figure Barry could always count on, Wally proved that Barry wasn't the only West who could wear the suit, and Iris.
they helped Barry become a better hero, carried some of the show's most memorable moments, and gave us characters worth caring about beyond the superhero action
Imagine calling WA fans jealous when SB losers are forever editing their scenes with Caitlin's face over Iris' body or promoting her being SA'd by Everyman? What are we jealous of exactly? That our ship was an actual ship & endgame? That we didn't have to use tacky photoshopping?

I don't understand how anyone can look at this and say she's never been supportive of him or she's tried stopping him from being the hero. She's always had his back. Always knew what to say to get him to focus on what's important, while alleviating his fears at the same time.
Of course she wouldn't because she never stood a chance. #BarryhatesblandBarbies
