I try to remember it may not fully click when I teach it. It might click the next week. My due dates are flexible with the kids. Comprehension and understanding are more important.

This may be a hot take, but I kinda think the division algorithm is elegant and beautiful. Especially when you see the connection between sorting (quotative) and the algorithm. #iTeachMath

No, the teachers do not allow them to act this way. Spend some time in school. And not just a day. Make it at least one to two weeks so you will know and understand what good kids are like and how one or two children who are not disciplined at home struggle. – at North Carolina, USA
