Since we’ve all been home watching movies during quarantine, we couldn’t help but see them in this project...(2/x)
We're excited to announce Kryshawna Beard's review paper on the clinical applications of EVs in TBI was just accepted at J. Neurotrauma! Check it out: liebertpub.com/doi/10.1089/n…
One month into #MeaneyLabFromHome and we’ve finally trained all of our new assistants!
Circuits that start off with *medium* connections don’t synchronize after losing important neurons. Circuits that start off with *many* connections are resilient! But they can show a different type of injury. (6/7)
Impairment depends on (1) how many connections the circuits have to start AND (2) which neurons die. If important neurons disappear, the behavior of the whole circuit changes. (5/7)
How many connections do you need to synchronize two microcircuits? Not very many! Two clusters of neurons can synchronize quite easily. (3/7)
We’re so excited to announce our latest paper “Neuronal degeneration impairs rhythms between connected microcircuits” by our own @SNSchumm and David Gabrieli in @FrontNeurosci: doi.org/10.3389/fncom.2020.0… (1/7)
