Three days before Marcos Jr’s third SONA, four youth human rights defenders filed civil and criminal charges against former 59th Infantry Battalion commander Lt. Col Ernesto Teneza Jr., 16 military officers and 5 other individuals at the Office of the Ombudsman today, July 19.
With another dismissed complaint in favor of human rights defenders, Paul and Fritz, this merely shows that the state's toxic attempts to brand us as terrorists are baseless, because human rights work is not terrorism.
