The fourth busiest blockchain by active addresses took in $1,385 in fees for the whole of October, by DefiLlama's count. That's opBNB, with 689,000 addresses active on its median day.
We didn't want to lean on one dashboard, so on 2 November we sampled 563 of its transactions ourselves, and 80% went to just six contracts. The data can't tell us who's behind them.

Have you ever used opBNB yourself, or do you know anyone who has?

If you remember JELLY as the day Hyperliquid's vault lost $13 million, that was HLP's paper loss at its worst, reported at about $12 million to $13.5 million.
On 26 March 2025 validators voted to delist the market and positions settled at $0.0095. Hyperliquid said HLP was about $700,000 up over the 24 hours. Supporters say that protected depositors. Critics say a few validators could pick the price.

If you read that 50 companies blocked tokenized stocks, the objections are narrower than that.
Under the SEC exemption of 17 September 2026 a company gets 30 days to object, with no reason needed, and the objection covers only the venue that sent the notice. Another venue would need its own notice, and the company can still tokenize its stock another way.

You can read a prediction market without any maths, because a winning share pays 1 dollar and a losing one pays nothing. So a price of 70 cents reads as the crowd's 70% odds.
In our example, 10 dollars at 70 cents buys about 14.28 shares: 14.28 dollars back if Yes wins, nothing if it loses. The market in that example is a redrawn illustration.

The US just cut MEXC off from American firms and didn't freeze a single coin.
The order lands on US banks and crypto firms, not on the exchange. And FinCEN admits they have "few, if any" ways to refuse crypto sent to them.
Should one country hold that power?

I hope with these new facts the Dutch government stops chasing the fallacy of wanting to spend billions on reducing the carbon footprint of the world with 0.00036 percent.
NEW PAPER: IPCC DEBUNKED AGAIN!
Human-Caused CO₂ Rise FALSIFIED
MEASUREMENTS PROVE IT!
Isotopic, radiocarbon, and energy-balance measurements expose the failures of Engelbeen et al. (2024).
- Keeling intercept: −13.2 ± 0.2‰
- Fossil fraction of net atmospheric CO₂ addition: indistinguishable from ZERO
- Bomb ¹⁴C decay: 18.4 years
- Mass balance provides ZERO evidence of causation

The name on the Hyperliquid news is ICE, owner of the NYSE. On 29 October it partnered with Trade XYZ and invested in it, size undisclosed, and ICE's CEO called perps "additive to our futures markets, not a replacement for them".
It still needs regulatory approval, there's no launch date as of 3 November, and Hyperliquid itself stays closed to US users.

You can use an exchange with strong security and still lose your account through your phone carrier.
In a SIM swap, a criminal gets the carrier to move your number to a SIM they control, then catches your text-message codes. CISA, the US cybersecurity agency, recommends passkeys or FIDO security keys over text-message codes.

And so the overlord has spoken her first words of doom.
Checking your own leaf in a proof of reserves shows you're in the tree. It can't show everyone else is, because the exchange decides which accounts go in.
In a worked example, 11 coins against 10 owed reads 110%. Add two left-out accounts and it's 11 against 12, about 92%. That's a limit of the method, and we aren't saying any exchange does it.

12,224 ZEC are frozen in Zcash's oldest privacy pool. The keys are still valid.
A key only signs. Nodes decide if it counts, and since Friday they reject the only format those coins can use. About 10,000 got out first. No recovery plan is approved.

The $2.8 billion count of North Korea's crypto theft from January 2024 to September 2025 doesn't come from the UN. Russia vetoed the UN panel's renewal in March 2024, China abstained, and the panel shut that April.
Eleven countries, including the US, Japan and South Korea, then set up their own team, the MSMT, and the count is from its October 2025 report.

We'll have to see how this plays out. But having Maxime Waters and Elizabeth Warren as supreme overlords is not something to look forward to in my opinion.
The Democratic sweep could be more BULLISH for crypto than it looks.
Democratic control of Congress brings tougher oversight, but it also brings lawmakers who support digital assets and blockchain innovation.
245 pro-crypto candidates have been elected so far, according to Stand With Crypto.
Thats 68.2% of midterm winners being pro-crypto.
As Ripple’s Brad Garlinghouse put it: “Pro-crypto members won on both sides of the aisle.”
“New Congress, with the same mission: clear rules, built in America.”
Crypto has also become a major political force. The industry has spent over $170 MILLION on the midterms, largely through Fairshake and its affiliates, making its priorities harder for either party to ignore.
That influence does not mean an easy legislative path.
'Anti-crypto' Elizabeth Warren and Maxine Waters are positioned to lead key committees, with stronger consumer protections, restrictions on illicit finance and scrutiny of Trump-family ventures such as World Liberty Financial likely to take priority.
The resulting investigations could make the industry-backed version of CLARITY impossible to advance.
But there is a constructive possibility after all as tougher negotiations could produce rules with broader political support and stronger safeguards.
For crypto, this is a major opportunity in building a framework that can survive changes in power.

🚨JUST IN: 'Anti- Crypto' Elizabeth Warren set to become Senate Banking Committee chair, giving the outspoken crypto critic major influence over financial regulation.
The role would put Warren at the center of crypto legislation, banking oversight and scrutiny of financial regulators.
Democrats also plan to investigate financial ties between the crypto industry, President Trump and his family, per Bloomberg.
