"Securing a deal with the Prime Minister, BC and Ottawa will work together to reach a newly negotiated childcare funding agreement with a December 1st deadline. My family has benefited from a wonderful local childcare centre and I will keep fighting so that every family benefits from quality childcare across our province.
A couple of years ago, the childcare centre that one of our children was attending was designated as a $10/day site. When that occurred, we chose as a family to make a donation to that excellent facility. We felt that we did not need that discount and we wanted to make sure that the childcare centre could provide other supports for families in the community.
We will be making a similar donation to the childcare centre for our youngest child who attends the same facility."

Two years ago, BC Muslim Association members publicly barred elected officials from their premises unless they endorsed the restoration of funding to UNRWA, which is basically a funding sieve for Hamas. The other religious associations in BC don't act like this.

Then his successor resigned over the corruption scandal of Casinogate and was actually charged criminally? And Adrian Dix should have been charged with obstruction for his actions trying to hide evidence? And then his successor was involved in a rigged voting scandal in his leadership race? I presented results from the large body of research conducted in BC with corroborating international evidence
He chose to implement policies that had clear harmful effects and one week after my briefing the BC govt ordered my university to destroy my team’s decades of scientific findings, also eliminating our ability to carry out funded research
Rational action concerning addiction and public safety left BC’s capital some time ago and IMO the biggest challenge of the next elected govt is to reform and redirect relevant public services
