ALT Satisfactory academic progress (SAP) means making good enough grades and completing enough credits toward completing your degree. It is required to maintain eligibility for federal student aid.

ALT Each school sets its own SAP policy. You can check your school's website or contact your financial aid office to find yours. The policy will include what grade point average you need to maintain; how quickly you need to be moving toward graduation; how an incomplete class, withdrawal, repeated class, change of major, or transfer or credits from another school affects your SAP; what will happen if you fail to make SAP; and how you can regain eligibility for federal student aid.
