Massive announcement from @oklo -- sites for its 2nd and 3rd reactors at a DOE site south of Piketown, OH!
At least 3 exciting upshots for Ohio:
-Big increase in zero-carbon electricity and industrial heat for the local grid
-Industrial site redevelopment
-Jobs
Two @oklo Aurora powerhouses are planned for Ohio. The 15MWe plants will reuse sites previously used by a gas diffusion plant and also provide 50MWth of heating. Oklo will own the reactor and sell power under a PPA. powermag.com/oklos-next-two-…
