Huge congratulations to everyone who took part in today’s Solo Singing Competition. The adjudicator, @OldDecanian, Stephen Whitford had an unenviable task!
Winners: Jemima, Alice, Alba, Antonia and Cassian.
A jaw dropping display of pianistic panache from L6 student, Ivan. Ivan's LTCL Diploma recital of Bach, Debussy, Brahms and Paganini, jazz-style, received a standing ovation from the full house.

Bravo to our chamber musicians, who gave a stunning recital of Mozart, Piazzola tangos and effervescent Vivaldi, ably led by the Carducci Quartet.

Gentle reminder that when the cabin crew asks for your full attention during the safety brief, for you to keep aisles clear with your tray table folded away during take off and landing, there are 200-400 very good reasons for that.

Just read of the sad loss of Sir Tim Brighouse.
This list has been on the wall of my class then Office for ever and was and is the most important list I’ve ever had. It’s constantly reminded me that teaching is more than what happens in lessons and that it’s about being human.
