Delhi Police Operation “CyHawk 6.0” — a nationwide crackdown on the organised Cybercrime and Online Financial Fraud Ecosystem. An intelligence-led, multi-state operation targeting the entire network of cyber fraudsters, mule-account suppliers, insider facilitators, fraudulent SIM providers and illegal call centres. Major breakthroughs of Operation CyHawk 6.0: 🔹 4,979 suspects detained/rounded up for verification across Delhi. 🔹 1,732 persons arrested or bound down (944 arrested + 788 bound down); notices served on 2,081 more. 🔹 1,032 FIRs actioned — 596 new FIRs registered and 432 previously pending cases worked out, along with 4 Kalandras. 🔹 4,002 NCRP complaints linked, including 3,275 complaints from other States/UTs, involving a cheated amount of approximately ₹479.14 crore. 🔹 283 police teams conducted operations across at least 17 States and 5 Union Territories to trace and apprehend accused persons. 🔹 Major seizures included 1,037 mobile phones, 1,301 SIM cards, 106 laptops/computers, 397 ATM cards, SIM boxes, vehicles, cash, gold and cryptocurrency. FACT CHECK Several social media handles are circulating old and unrelated videos of trains and railway stations, falsely linking them to the upcoming event scheduled for 1 November 2026 and claiming that large numbers of people are travelling to Delhi to attend it. Such misleading claims, presented without verifying the date, location or context of the visuals, are intended to create a false impression of mass movement towards the national capital. 🚨 @dcp_southwest की साइबर पुलिस टीम ने फर्जी ट्रैफिक चालान SMS के जरिए साइबर ठगी करने वाले संगठित गिरोह का पर्दाफाश कर 5 आरोपियों को गिरफ्तार किया। 🔹 आरोपी रिवॉर्ड ऐप का लालच देकर आम लोगों के मोबाइल फोन का इस्तेमाल फर्जी ट्रैफिक चालान, डिलीवरी वेरिफिकेशन और रिवॉर्ड से जुड़े फिशिंग SMS भेजने के लिए करते थे। प्रत्येक रिडेम्पशन पर यूजर्स को ₹1–₹3 का भुगतान किया जाता था, जबकि उनके फोन से स्वतः 9–12 फर्जी SMS भेजे जाते थे। 🔹 जांच में 41,000 से अधिक यूजर्स से जुड़े रिवॉर्ड-ऐप नेटवर्क के जरिए मात्र 3 दिनों में लगभग ₹2 करोड़ के लेन-देन का खुलासा हुआ। 🔹 महज ₹2.21 लाख की शिकायत से शुरू हुई जांच में देशभर की 544 NCRP शिकायतें, ₹10 करोड़ से अधिक की ठगी और 3,300 से अधिक फिशिंग SMS का पता चला। 🔹 जांच के दौरान ठगी की रकम का वित्तीय लिंक कुवैत स्थित बैंक खाते तक पहुंचा। साथ ही, पेआउट नेटवर्क के लिए संचालित बैंक खातों और मनी-म्यूल नेटवर्क का भी पर्दाफाश हुआ। 🔹 आरोपियों के कब्जे से 15 मोबाइल फोन/टैबलेट, 59 डेबिट कार्ड, 52 पासबुक/चेकबुक, 14 फर्मों की मुहरें, 5 POS मशीनें, 8 QR स्कैनर, एक कार और सोने की चेन बरामद की गई। @LtGovDelhi @JointCPSR #DPUpdates #CyberSafety #DelhiPolice
