Big news broke recently: the ATF says it will stop enforcing the federal NFA registration and tax stamp process for suppressors. Here in Colorado, that doesn’t change much yet. State law still requires that same process to legally possess a suppressor, so the paperwork isn’t optional here even though it’s now called “voluntary” at the federal level.
