This is what some people in our fanbase do unfortunately. It is the same stupidity surrounding Baseball and Nate Yeskie.
Did Blake call a great game last night? No, the soft zone coverage in the first half wasn’t a good game plan. People quickly forget though that we had one of the worst defenses I’ve ever seen at LSU in 2023 and in just 2 years Blake Baker turned that into a top 30 unit in the country. The same people slandering him now are the same people that were praising him after the first 2 games. It’s just ridiculous.

FINAL THOUGHTS on #LSU-#OleMiss: The emotions of this game were sky-high due to the obvious theatrics between both schools and Lane Kiffin, which makes the loss feel worse than it actually is.
Losing a one-score game on the road in the #SEC against a top-10 team in the country, who has the best QB in the country is nothing to be ashamed of.
While there are things to look at, clean-up, and improve on — the Tigers are still a top-10 team in the country and the Kiffin era is firmly on track…think of where this team was last season heading into (and especially after) the Texas A&M game compared to this season.
Couple that with the expanded playoff + plenty of opportunities against top-15 teams on the schedule — LSU is still and will remain in the mix all season long.
Hats off to Pete Golding and the rest of the Rebels’ staff and players — they have a special group and while I do think there will be a bit of a drop-off after Trinidad Chambliss and Kewan Lacy go to the #NFL, next season, they are absolutely bonafide National Championship contenders in 2026.
And boy oh boy, whoever thinks Chambliss won’t be able to play at the next-level because of his height are just clearly out of touch with reality.
