- 1st SE - people keep parking in areas that aren't parking anymore, so DDOT will soon move bikeshare stations there - 8th NE - plans presented to community meeting this week - 9th NW - meeting this week with design team for PA Ave to T St; T St to Barry Pl bike lane install expected complete June - AZ Ave - Met ANC 4/22 for input on proposed alternatives - E St NW - traffic analysis underway to protect existing bike lanes - I St SW/SE - 90% designed; NOI soon for summer install - Kenyon NW - extension to 11th NW is at 65% design - Minnesota SE - PBL install underway M St to Ely Pl - Monroe/Michigan Ave NE - working with CUA for trail connecting to Crosstown bikeway; existing Monroe bikelanes will become PBLs when that's built - Park Pl+Park Rd NW - NOI closes May 9, construction to follow shortly - PA Ave SE - NOI closes today; construction late June/early July, done by Spring 2023 - Tunlaw/NM Ave NW - Starting final design, but truncated to Calvert, not continuing to 37th St NW.

Importantly, in jurisdictions where similar policies have been implemented, safety has improved. For example, in Delaware, bike-related crashes at stop signs (now treated as yield) dropped by 23% in the 1st year of adopting this policy. The @DCBAC also called for this change:
