#DC4EU hosted a workshop at the ECCA annual conference exploring how #digitalcredentials could evolve, addressing security, access, and infrastructure challenges, highlighting the need for secure digital IDs like #EUDIW and tackling social and legal barriers beyond technology.

Sixteen participants tested the #DC4EU #EHIC and #PDA1 #credentials on #digitalwallet with verifier stations representing hospital and labour authorities using Android and iOS platforms at @Cleiss_fr, successfully demonstrating the potential and functionality of the #EUDIW.

#DC4EU has engaged departments within the Austrian Federation of Social Insurances (@DVSV) and external organisations in the past few weeks, sparking insightful discussions and feedback, reinforcing the impact of #digitalinnovation in #socialsecuritycoordination systems.

#DC4EU contributes to the #DigitalDecade, #SingleDigitalGateway, #DEAP and the #EuropeanEducationArea. From #ICT skills to mobility to trusted identity – we support EU-wide #recognition of #qualifications. #EUDIW #eIDAS2
