ALT UndeRealm Gen 3 Audition FAQ We've heard your concerns about the background check process. This FAQ will clarify it. To give everyone time to review the details before applying, the audition window will be extended! New Audition Submission Deadline: Mon, Sept 28 | 12pm PT/3pm ET/8pm BST Q1: Will I need to submit a background check if I apply? No. Only the final 6 applicants who agree to join UndeRealm Gen 3 Talent will need to submit a background check. Q2: What kind of background check is submitted? This depends on your location. (e.g. - British citizens will be required to provide an enhanced DBS check.)

ALT Q3. Who is expected to pay for the background check? UndeRealm will reimburse costs associated with a background check after submission of a valid receipt of purchase. If you cannot afford the upfront cost, an alternate solution can be discussed. Q4. How does the background check remain anonymous? UndeRealm is a team of Vtubers ran by Vtubers so we understand the necessity of privacy & anonymity. The only information we require to view is your DOB & that you have no felony/criminal charges on the background check. All other Personally Identifiable Information (PII) should be redacted before submission. Furthermore, the only person on the UndeRealm team that will view the redacted Background Check will be our Admin team member, Valen, who is separate from UR Talent.

ALT Q5. How will my data be handled? Valen will communicate with you via DM & discuss the required checks in your place of residence and what documents are required. We will provide you with an email address to send this document to that only Valen has access to and has a retention policy of 10 days. To access the email, Valen will use a volatile operating system which deletes any data (i.e, your background check) once the device is turned off meaning that your background check will never be stored in any place other than the email address it was sent to. Q6. That’s complicated, what if I'm still not sure? This may seem like a long and unnecessary process, however for the safety of our community, Talent & yourselves, this is how we have chosen to conduct ourselves.
